Job Description

The Safety Specialist is responsible for implementing and monitoring safety procedures. They ensure safety guidelines and standards follow all governmental regulations.

They will be responsible for:

  • Developing safety programs
  • Conducting safety meetings
  • Accident investigations
  • Writing accident reports
  • Inspecting work areas

Job Related Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields:
    • Occupational Health
    • Environmental Health
    • Emergency Management
  • 4 to 7 years experience in related field

Special Requirements

  • OSHA certification
  • Safety Management Specialist certification
